Well, guitar players, here's a Universal Warm-Up ! You can use this group of numbers that I derived with my Lick Builder© software to warm up your left hand. Basically, place each finger on any four adjacent frets on any of the six strings all over the fretboard. All of you finger pickers and classical guitar players can use this group of letters that I also derived from my Lick Builder© software to warm up your right hand. The graphic shows a C Major chord's left hand fingering. Place your right hand thumb (p=thumb) on fifth string, index (i=index) on the open third string, middle (m=middle) finger on second string, ring (a=ring) finger on open first string. Have fun and try this on all the chords you know ! I hope you have fun and find this useful to you.

I can't remember when I first began using permutations in my musical activities, yet every now and then some guitar player reminds me of this great tool and I'm just the next one passing it on. Enjoy!
